The Siq to the ancient city of Petra in the Nation of Jordan. Once a trading post of the Nabateans, an Arab Bedoin tribe indigenous the area. The hike down the Siq (or canyon) is narrow with amazingly high walls cut by the wind and water. As you near the end of the Siq a small sliver of a view of the Treasury becomes visible. A few more step and the canyon opens up to the view of the Treasury shown here.
