Returns and Refund Policy

Refunds and Returns: 


Our policy on returns is you may return any product or print if the printing is flawed or the product was damaged in shipping. This return policy lasts 14 days from receipt of product or print. If 14 days have gone by since you received the product, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange as my print partners have a window for returns that I must conform to.

All sales are final.

The reason all sales are final is all our products are Print on Demand (POD). That means we have no inventory and we only order a product when an individual makes a purchase.

This is a very sustainable philosophy, meaning we only use what we purchase and don’t have any waste. We only ship what is ordered and we don’t use any more energy than is needed. The result is, we offer our products at a lower cost because we don’t have to cover waste.

Damaged or Flawed Printed items.

If the item you ordered is damaged in shipping or the printing is flawed, you must return the item to Jan Johnston for inspection within 14 days. Once we have determined the damage and received a refund from our production partner we will refund the purchase price of the item. We will keep you informed of the potential refund and steps in the process.

Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Please contact me and I will send you my address.

Non-returnable items: 

• Gift cards
• Downloadable software products


Refunds.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds. 


If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact me.

Sale items.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges.


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. 

We recommend donating the item to a local organization to reduce waste the energy needed to ship the product back to us. We recommend pickupmydonation.com. Click here to find a local partner.

If you have any recommendations for national organizations that pick up donations please let me know and I will post them here.

Shipping.

To return your product, please contact Jan and I will send you my address.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
