This is the view from Nof Ginosar Kibbutz on the western edge of the Sea of Galilee. The ridge in the background is Mt. Arbel and was the major route from the northern part of the Sea to Nazareth, Cana, Mt. Carmel and the Jezreel Valley. Jesus would have used that route from his adopted home of Capernaum to travel west and southern parts of the land of Israel.
