The Siq to the ancient city of Petra in the Nation of Jordan. Once a trading post of the Nabateans, an Arab Bedoin tribe indigenous the area. Along the hike down the Siq, along the walls about chest height is a gouge cut out in the wall running horizontally. This gouge or aqueduct carried water to the city of Petra.
